Piano recital!

Mikelle had her piano recital today and did so well! She played two pieces memorized and one of them was a duet with her teacher -- Ode to Joy! And it brought so much joy to us to watch her and hear how well she has done! She also received a special medal for doing a great job in her music theory! Way to go Kels!

Kindergarten graduation!

This morning was Aubrey's kidergarten garten graduation and program! It was
so much fun to see and hear all the cute songs and moves they've been practicing!

For graduation, their teacher had them travel through the tube and
she waved her magic wand and declared them to be "FIRST GRADERS"
when they came out! One of her little friends started to cry and said,
"I don't wanna be a first grader!" Too cute! He later changed his mind!

Here she comes!

Nothin' like the good old chicken dance!

And really nothin' like watchin' Ry do it with her!!!

Aubs and her truly "One in a million Kindergarten teacher"!

This is the sweet apron the kids in her class made me for being a volunteer
this year in their class! It will forever be a treasure and I love it!

Our silly boy!

This is just one of the many funny things Carter has done lately -- (Lately? Not just lately -- always!) He seriously says or does something every day that makes us just laugh! Last night we were putting the kids down and the girls went down great but Carter was not in the mood-- I went in for a third time and said, "It's time for bed Carter!" He said, "No, I'm not going to bed, I'm gonna just relax!" He lights up our lives and brings so much joy!!! Love ya little buddy!

St. George

We went to St. George on the first part of our Memorial weekend! We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant in Page, got to St. George and Sat. morning woke up and had water balloon fun in the back for a couple hours! Then went to lunch and a great Movie-- Night at the museum 2! It was a great movie- Then we went to the outlets for a few things and had a bubble blowing contest and bought the kids hats that were on a great deal at Children's place~ Carter still hasn't taken his off! Then went to the Temple grounds and visitor's center. Had dinner then went back and watched a HUGE storm roll in! The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun with our little family!

Escalante!

The last part of our trip we went to meet Dad and Rosie in Escalante! We went to Bryce Canyon and it was so beautiful! The rest of the time we hung out in Escalante and spent time with Dad and Rosie-- The kids LOVE the yard and climbing on all the old vines that wrap around the trees. It's such a fun little place and so good to get away from all the bust hubub in the world! It was a great time!

A new dog????

This is a before and after picture of Nana before we took her to the groomers. I specifically asked them to cut her body shorter but to leave her cute bushy face. I dropped her off and Ry picked her up --They brought her out and asked if this was his dog-- He looked at her and said"I'm not quite sure!" He got home with her and the kids were dying laughing! Carter said, "Mom--She got squished like playdoh!" It is her but I think we will not be revisiting that particular groomers again! It'll take a while to grow out but in the mean time -- she'll be easier to keep clean!

Last field trip -- Oh DEER!

I got to go on Aubrey's last kindergarten field trip yesterday with her-- It was so much fun! We went to the deer farm and all the kids loved it! The kids get to feed the deer and there are millions -- they just come right up and eat out of your hands! They also had reindeer, goats, a camel, peacocks, and talking birds! We had a great time together! And it was a fun end of the year field trip! I can't believe how fast time goes!

Field Trip fun

I got to go with Kel on a calss field trip this week -- It is so much fun to see her in her own little element at school -- And so funny to see that she is following in her mom's footsteps -- hanging out with the boys at recess -- She is a tomboy at heart and I love it! She hads some really cute girl friends too but I love that she gets along with everyone! This is one of her best buddies Tanner -- this week he was so cute -- I got a call from the school nurse that Kel had an allergic reaction to something on her face and her face sweeled up and was very red -- She came in from recess adn didn't say a thing cuz she was scared she would have to get a shot or something if she did -- Tanner looked and her, felt her face, took her by the hand and told the teacher that he was taking her to the nurse. What a cute boy! It ends up that she is just fine -- just got into something that caused quite a reaction! Thanks to the benedryl and 24 hours -- she's back to normal.

BYU Women's Conference

Just got back from a week in Utah. Saw family and dear friends and also got the chance to go to Women's Conference at BYU with a group of the greatest ladies! My dear friends from Flag! It was so much fun being back on my old stomping grounds -- Yes -- I went to BYU and am still forever a cougar! We stayed in the dorms, ate out, laughed our heads off, stayed up late, but more than anything, we totally FILLED with the greatest spirit, talks, music, inspiration, testimony, and strength! Thursday morning's opening session was so amazing! My dear friend Merrillee Webb got up and led thousands of women in the Marriott Center in the hymn" Now Let us Rejoice" The entire place was filled and as we all stood and sing together -- IT WAS POWERFUL! That hymn was one of the first of the Restoration and was written at a time of great tribulation for the Saints, and yet, Rejoicing is what they felt to do! It was inspring and such an amazing weekend! I truly loved every minute and was so grateful to my parents and wonderful hubby for being with our kids so that I could go! I feel like I hopefully have returned and better wife and mommy! It's a must for me from now on!!! And thanks again ladies for a great time! Love you!!!!
