I got to go with Kel on a calss field trip this week -- It is so much fun to see her in her own little element at school -- And so funny to see that she is following in her mom's footsteps -- hanging out with the boys at recess -- She is a tomboy at heart and I love it! She hads some really cute girl friends too but I love that she gets along with everyone! This is one of her best buddies Tanner -- this week he was so cute -- I got a call from the school nurse that Kel had an allergic reaction to something on her face and her face sweeled up and was very red -- She came in from recess adn didn't say a thing cuz she was scared she would have to get a shot or something if she did -- Tanner looked and her, felt her face, took her by the hand and told the teacher that he was taking her to the nurse. What a cute boy! It ends up that she is just fine -- just got into something that caused quite a reaction! Thanks to the benedryl and 24 hours -- she's back to normal.

Alyssa has always gotten along great with the boys and prefers hanging out with them than with the girls. It causes a problem when your daughter is too young for boy/girl activities and has been a source of contention for a long time at our house. However, time does march along and the Lord does take pity on us at times because Alyssa is finally turning 14!! Yay! Old enough for regional dances and some boy/girl parties and actities.
