Why I've been a little behind!

This picture right here tells why I haven't blogged in a while -- Last week we went to the doctor 4 times -- The kids each had strep 1-2 days apart and then on Thursday -- Kels hurt her finger shutting it in the door! Ry skipped pack meeting and took her to Insta care and they sent her home with it cleaned up and with a good band aid! The next night was her piano recital and they said she's be in pain but prob. ok to play if she felt like it! We went to dinner right before and then Ry got a call on his cell-- It was the radiologist who had taken a look at the x-ray and said it was broken and to come back TONIGHT and get on antibiotics and get it bandaged up well in a splint! Well, we went to the recital and she played beautifully! Then she was on her way! Bless her heart! What a good sport! And quite a story to tell!

Dear "Aunt Trish" our wonderful teacher!

and her wonderful treats!

first finger foods!

Gracie has been loving the whole eating bit! She loves her cheerios and puffs and now has progressed to everything she can get her little hands on! These are a few of her first tastes and all her cute faces -- Notice her little friend waiting patiently for her to drop some small morsels to nibble on!

skit night

Kels was involved in a Spanish-English skit night at her school -- They have a Spanish program called Spanish Emersion -- they had the Spanish and English students take part in the night and it was so much fun!

DONKEY, DONKEY!

Up the street from Carter's little school there is a fence with three donkeys behind it -- We had to walk by it after taking pics of preschool and the donkeys came right up to the fence -- Carter grabbed a dandillion and fed one right to the donkey and he snarfed it right out of his hand! He giggled so loud and thought it was great fun to feed them weeds and grass! It was so much fun and he talked about it for days!

A great Mom's Day!

For Mother's Day Ry made me a garden! He and I woke up the day before on Sat. and worked together from sun up to sundown turning our old sand pit into a garden! It was so much fun and he was amazing! He worked his head off and planned it so well! Built all the boards and did so much! He and the kids made me omelettes in the morning and then we got to talk to Mom in Africa and wish her a happy day! After church my Dad and Rosie and brother and his fam came for dinner! It was a wonderful day!

Preschool pics!

Carter goes to the most wonderful preschool in the world-- The Youngs in Kaysville have had all of our kids for preschool and now that we're back in UT we knew that would be the prefect place for him to be! Back when Kels was in they had me do all the preschool pics for all their classes and it was so much fun! Their neighbor has the most amazing yard and so we took them there -- Well, this year they had me do them again and I was able to do class and individual pics for all 5 classes! It was a blast! Here are Carter's class pics!

BYU Women's Conference

I got to go down to Women's Conference for 2 days and be with my Flagstaff girlfriends! It was such an amazing time to say the least! We heard the greatest talks from Sis. Beck, Mary Ellen Emmonds, Pres. and Sis. Hales and many more amazing people! I felt so uplifted and a much needed rejuvination! We got to meet Hilary Weeks who is the amazing singer/entertainer every year. She is friends and lived next to one of the gals I know from Flag! And I got books and treats for the kids at the BYU Bookstore and stood in line forever to get the Fablehaven books signed for Kels -- Rosie stayed with the kids Thursday and then Ry took off Fri. He was the best hubby ever and even when I called to say I may come home early Fri. he told me he had already gone to the store, bought dinner to make and a movie and they were all set and not to come home til I had been to dinner with all of them! WHAT A GUY!!! I love him dearly and am so glad to have been able to go! Thanks Flag gals for a great time-- I love ya!

7 months

Gracie is 7 months old today and since it's CINCO DE MAYO-- We had to spice it up a little! She is so fun -- Laughing, saying,"ba ba ba ba " and crawling EVERYWHERE!!! She loves to find the little door stoppers and flick them so they make that funny sound! She is so fun and we love every minute with her!

FHE

FHE -- prepping the garden (the old sand trap) We are getting ready to level and make a fence so that we can have our garden! I CAN'T WAIT! Oh how we have missed Utah soil -- plating a garden at 7000 feet was a little tricky! We'll see how it differs being back on UT ground! The kids were hard little workers!

SWING into SPRING!

It was a BEAUTIFUL day yesterday -- the kids love to swing and especially Carter and Aubs- Carter finally mastered pumping and is so cute about it -- He is so proud and it's his favorite thing-- They were squealing and giggling the whole afternoon and had a blast!
