April Fools!

Those that know me, know that this is one of my FAVORITE days of the year! We had a fun morning at our house and the kids were READY!

Even Gracie got into it! She put these on and kept laughing to herself!

Carter wore these glasses to school and had fun telling them that they were his new glasses!

She was not too sure about these chattering teeth!

B-Day weekend!

For Mikelle's friend party, we had some of her friends over for a movie in our rec room! We put up lights and covered the windows to make it way dark and showed a movie up on the wall. We had a little concession stand with treats and they laid down blankets and watched a movie "theater style". After the movie, the music came on and they had a blast dancing!

Kel's favorite color is BLUE! So we had some blue balloons! The kids loved them especially Gracie. They decided to go let them go all together.

Kel thought it would be fun to tie one on Na Na! It was pretty funny watching her run around the neighborhood!

Sunday we had family over for dessert and a few little gifts! We had Grandma Rosei and Grandpa Dave, Grandma Netty and Grandpa Rand, Grandma O. and Andy, Kelly, Ry, Jakers, and even baby Jaxson! So fun to have family so close!

Kel doesn't like CAKE! And that's just fine-- until B-day rolls around -- So I did some ice cream pies "Baskin Robbins" style. They were both way fun and she enjoyed them!

Just had to snap this pic of her on Sunday! She came down all dressed for Church and I took one look at her and couldn't believe how grown up she's become! It was just yesterday that she was toddling around like Gracie! 10 years goes by so fast! Kel, we are so proud of you and the beautiful girl you are and all that you have ahead of you! We love you!

Mikelle is double digits!

MIKELLE turned TEN today! I wanted to put together a little collage for her of this past year and some of her cute faces and can I just say, this girl is larger than life and we love her so so much! We are so proud of what a great kid she is and all that she is accomplishing in her life! She is a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, friend, sister, babysitter, cook, seamstress, dancer, athlete, piano player, comedian, reader, entertainer, etc. Kels--We sure love you and are so grateful for all the joy you bring to our family!!!

We surprised her EARLY this morning with a new BIKE! She was shocked and so excited -- So much so that she had to go on a ride even before the sun came up!

Then she went to the JAZZ game with Dad for a special date! We're looking forward to a fun filled weekend with a couple little parties to celebrate! Happy Day Kels!!!

New little nephew!

This is our cute little new nephew Jaxson Jace Patterson! He was born to Andy and Kelly on March 3rd! I got to do a little newborn shoot this week and had so much fun!

Belt ceremony #2

Carter had another belt ceremony on Saturday! He got his orange belt! We can't get enough of how cute he is doing this!

So serious!

Great kicking skills bud!

One thing I love about this is the breaking board part! He has the boys go to Mom and Dad with a board and write down something they would like to work on and improve on at home (ie: obeying, chores, getting along with siblings, etc) then we write it down on the board and they take it back to Master Oliver and focus on the board. Then they break it!

Carter broke the board!

Taking a bow with his new belt!

Hugs for Grandma Orange! Both his grandmas with orange hair got to come and he loved that! Especially getting his ORANGE belt!

Farmington's Got Talent!

Ry's friend Nelson plays the guitar and composes -- He asked Ry and another friend to sing a song with him in Farmington's Got Talent -- They performed tonight and did so well! It was such a fun program to watch and we had so much fun!

They had 3rd, 2nd and 1st place winners announced -- And they won 1st place!

This one made me giggle! Nelson and Miss Farmington!

Dr. Seuss Dinner!

Wednesday, March 2nd is Dr. Seuess's Birthday and is a day to celebrate for our family! We love Dr. Seuess! We made some crafts with the kids and had a little Birthday dinner!

Hop on Pop -CORN!

Blue jello -- For the One fish, Two fish, red fish blue fish

Cat in the Hat cookies

And while we were doing our crafts Aubs created this plate of Green eggs and ham -- All from her own cute little head!

Our actual edible version!

We gave the kids each a Seuss book to add to our library-- Daddy read Gracie hers while she enjoyed a little cookie

This is the funniest! I put this book out while I was getting dinner ready. Carter is getting so excited about reading and is reading several small words. He is always asking me what things say and wanting to know what different books are about. He looked at this one and asked, "Mom....Does that book say, There's a Monster in my bum?!" Oh boy, I laughed for a long time! And the rest of us did the rest of the night!

It was a fun dinner and a fun night together! Grandma Netty even came! She and Kel share a special Seuss bond-- When we moved away to AZ, she would call Mikelle weekly and read her Dr. Seuss over the phone! Can't wait for next year's party!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR.SEUSS!
