I blogged about this last year but have to again! I will admit I stopped doing Btfl. baskets for awhile -- Just too busy, a few weeks we got some wierd stuff, and don't really need it in the Summer months -- I've been going again and Really....for $15, you cannot beat it! This was today's! Now what to do with turnips?????

Never eaten a turnip. My inclination is to toss them, but perhaps you can make up a night that includes turnips...
That is exactly why I don't do the "basket" thing. I get these things I have never bought, and really only hear about in WEIRD recipes. I figure I was paying TOO much for the "normal" food. Maybe you can convince me otherwise... (I really only did it twice.)
I have a great recipe for turnips! You can roast them with other root veggies then make them into a soup. Email me if you want the exact recipe.
