From dolls to lizrards!

Yes -- our girls are pretty well-rounded I guess! :) They still LOVE dolls -- They had a fun play date this week with the girl friends and American dolls. They love tea parties and anything to do with their dolls! Then the very next day, they were out catching lizards in the front yard! This latest one was pretty cool -- It has a turquoise belly! They let them go now and they just stay right on our front garden bed! Fun to have little pets in the front yard!

An amazing lady!

I don't know -- but this is one of the most amazing ladies I've ever seen! She literally brought tears to my eyes -- She is the prime example of someone who truly believes in herself NO MATTER WHAT or WHO thinks she can or can't! She has taught so many by her example and I just love Susan Boyle!

A Special Day!

Yesterday, April11th, 2009 -- Mikelle was baptized -- It was such a special day and so wonderful to have such great friends and family with us! We went to bed Friday night after a beautiful day of Spring weather, to waking up Sat. morning to SNOW! But how special to have a white baptism day! And also have it on Easter weekend! It was a great day and one that Mikelle (and our family) will always remember and it was just so special! We are so proud of Kel and her decision to be baptized. Her grandpa Dave confirmed her and that was very special too! Grandma and Grandpa in Africa wrote the most tender, meaningful letter to her that was read at her baptism and meant so much. We had a luncheon after and were able to bring out the web cam so everyone could talk and see them and they got to see everyone which was fun too! Part of the family left yesterday and the rest went home today after church and Easter dinner! Grandma O. is staying til Wed. and we are loving having her here! We're taking her to Sedona tomorrow and are just loving the time together! It's been a great weekend!

New news!!!

So today we had all our family arrive for Mikelle's day tomorrow! It's been so much fun to have everyone here and it's going to be a fun weekend! What made it even and little more exciting was the new news we shared as the fam came in! Everyone was very suprised!
Yes, baby #4 is on the way! We are almost 3 and a half months along and are finally feeling normal again! We are due the first week of Oct. Just in time for our 10 year Anniversary!

Mikelle's baptism!

This week Mikelle is getting baptized and we are so excited! Tonight we did a FHE about baptism and she had such cute questions. She even practiced a few last minute dunks in the living room! It's hard to believe our little girl is growing up as fast! WE had a good time doing her pics together last week and thought we'd include the front and back of her little announcement!

Another dinner day!

Today we did our dinners in the freezer meals again! Yahoo! The freezer is full again! There were 4 of us and we did 15 meals! From blueberry french toast, to stuffed garganzola chicken! Ry was wonderful to be with the kids for a Saturday morning on his own -- but it's well worth it! He loves the meals. :) The days of the 4:00 "What should I make for dinner?" are over again... at least for a little while! Thanks for the fun gals!!!

My favorite day of the year!

So April Fools is literally one of my favorite days EVER!!! Evey year I have way too much fun! Probably my favorite year was the year I drove both our cars out of our open garage and up around the corner while RY was in the shower -- WE had been having problems with our garage door going up because someone else had the same frequency -- Well, I hopped on the opportunity since he was so worried about it -- He came down, had breakfast, grabbed his lunch and then went down to go through the door into the garage to get into his car -- I was just waiting to see what he'd do seeing a wide open garage with cars and other things GONE! He did just as I thought and completely screamed!!!! I ran down and played along for as long as I could and then lost it laughing! What a mean wife I am!!! Some years, I try so hard but just can't get him--SO..... this year Mikelle was right in it with me and she wanted to do something first thing -- SHe's had all sorts of interesting homework assignments lately so we thought we could try the old quarter trick with him and say we all had to do it for an experiment to see how strait prople can roll quarters down their face -- WE all had a quarter (Ry's was of course the only one that we had rubbed the edges with penicil) Sure enough he fell for it! So here is his cute face --

Then I had to make abatch of my favorite brownies that have a special ingredient! SPONGE! My buddy Laura got me so bad a few years ago with these and I have been making them ever since! Just cute up new (of course) sponges, dip in brownie batter, bake, then cut edges and you're done! Now I just have to decide who to take them to! More of the fun begins!!!!
