Yesterday, April11th, 2009 -- Mikelle was baptized -- It was such a special day and so wonderful to have such great friends and family with us! We went to bed Friday night after a beautiful day of Spring weather, to waking up Sat. morning to SNOW! But how special to have a white baptism day! And also have it on Easter weekend! It was a great day and one that Mikelle (and our family) will always remember and it was just so special! We are so proud of Kel and her decision to be baptized. Her grandpa Dave confirmed her and that was very special too! Grandma and Grandpa in Africa wrote the most tender, meaningful letter to her that was read at her baptism and meant so much. We had a luncheon after and were able to bring out the web cam so everyone could talk and see them and they got to see everyone which was fun too! Part of the family left yesterday and the rest went home today after church and Easter dinner! Grandma O. is staying til Wed. and we are loving having her here! We're taking her to Sedona tomorrow and are just loving the time together! It's been a great weekend!

It sounds like the day turned out perfectly for all of you. I am so glad. It really is cool that Ryan's parents can communicate so readily with your family in all of these special occasions.
