Mikelle won first place on her science project at De Miguel elementary school! She jumped in the car on Monday and screamed, "I got first place!" And has been so excited -- We are so very proud of her and love that she did this all on her own and thought it up and her own as well! She decided to do the project on icebergs (since ice is not a rare commodity here lately) :) She wanted to see what part of the ice melted the fastest -- under the water or out of the water. She took chunks of ice and brought them inside and put them into water and took pictures, and observed. Then put them all together on a poster and she was ready! The projects are all on display in the library and we enjoyed going and seeing them all. Pretty cute little scientist!

Way to go Mikelle! What a cutie! She is growing up! THis is so fun! I love the snow tunnels from the email! So fun. I thought we had snow! Our is a dusting for you guys!
