So we had a little family of swallows build a nest right over our front door-- We watched them start building and tried knocking it down a few times to urge them to build another place-- But they were determined and so we gave up! Then the cute babies appeared and it was amazing to watch them grow so fast!
They were almost ready to fly-- But I had things to do and places to go-- I left for about 2 hours and when I came home......
I found one had fallen to its death :(, and this one was ok but behind my pots, and then the others were....
over in my hanging basket!
and Mom was right above -- on the watch!
and the Dad came in to feed the babies below! It was truly amazing to watch them!!!
