Between last night and this morning -- we got about 18 inches of snow! So, needless to say, school was cancelled! Unfortunately not Daddy's work -- but hey! We have had so much fun ! We have shoveled, played in the snow, had our cute friends Emma and Ellie over, built snowmen and forts, and of course had hot cocoa! Now Mom needs a nap!

18 inches? Are you serious? I thought that 6-8 inches was a lot. The interesting part is that Kaysville City is short on funds this year and they don't have the money to plow the side roads. Creekside Way is a main road but Creekside Lane is a side road and we haven't been plowed. I don't really mind since I hate the mess that the plow leaves in your driveway, and we have been fortunate enough for the snow to have melted on the road.
Enjoy every flake......that's what I tell myself to do.
