Sugarplum Fairies vs. Trike Monster

Wait for the end!

Powell trip

We got to go to Lake Powell for 5 days and had a wonderful time! WE went with Andy, Kelly and kids and Dad and Mom P. The kids loved being on a boat (It took Carter a bit to get on the boat but after the first day he was hooked) They loved being with Grandpa and Grandma and with 2 cute cousin Ry and Jakers. We caught frogs, fish, lizards, saw spiders, a scorpion, kit foxes, and snakes! The weather was beautiful and the company was the greatest! Thanks again family!!!

Recital

We had a fun visit from Grandma Gayla and Grandpa Ray this weekend. When the girls heard they were coming they immediately decided that it would be fun to have a recital and they turned on the music and practiced most of Saturday. They even went to their room and pulled several different outfits out to change into and brought down to their "backstage" dressing room (the toy room) and even roped Carter into the whole thing and they dressed him all on their own! It was a fun little (not short) show that included 14 songs! WE were able to get hem to settle for 7 and finish the rest the next morning. Very cute and we all had a good laugh and would see it again in a minute!

But we'll have some good times with some quality one on one time! I hope I can keep up with him -- He's a busy little guy !

Garden!

We got back and due to the monsoons -- our gardens were in heaven! We have loved growing flowers, beets, pumpkins, beets, tomatoes, beets, and more beets! (We love beets!) And gardening at 7000 feet, although tricky, is really nice! The Summers here never get over 85 and the evenings are heaven!

Dance, dance, dance!

We went to the Bountiful Dance Festival downtown on Main Street. There were lots of different countries represented and they would each dance and then invite any one who wanted to to come out and dance. The kids LOVED it and the highlight of the night was watching Ry dance Hava Nageela with the kids and a clown! Fun night!

APRICOTS!

We had a friend of ours let us come grab some apricots and we were in heaven! The kids were a lot of help and we were able to come back with some jam and syrup! Thank you Eggetts!!!

Grandma Netty took the girls to High School Musical at the Capital theater -- SOOO much fun and we all had a great time while the guys went to see Bat Man!

Friends Forever

Such a fun day being with forever friends! Trish made a wonderful lunch and we had all the kids at Rach's with a sitter so we could relax, soak our feet, and enjoy being together. Emma and Aubs had fun doing hair and being together too!

Wedding shoot

I got to shoot a wedding for one of my old Young Women from Kaysville! It was so much fun and so fun to be with them on such a special day-- Best wishes Ash and Scott!

Best buddies

Mikelle got to see her best friend Amanda in Kaysville and was in heaven! Amanda surprised her with a heart locket that says best friends on it! Mikelle was in heaven and so were we - Amanda's mom and I are good buddies too and the other kids are the same ages so everyone had a great time!
