President Hinckley

The news about President Hinckley came while we were down in Phoenix this past weekend. We were all so sad to hear but also so happy for the wonderful homecoming we were sure he had! He will be so missed and always loved. Mikelle was especially sad to hear and really took it hard. So hard in fact that she said she didn't want there to be any other Prophet! She said, "He had such a strong spirit I thought he'd live to be 100!" Monday night was FHE and we thought it would be a good idea to read out of the Friend and we read a great article by Thomas Monson. Amy thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce our (most likely) new Prophet and said,"Mikelle, do you know who this is in the picture?" And Mikelle glumly stated, "Ya, our new prophet!" Not too excited but thankfully after the lesson and much talk about the church moving on and always being true, she felt better and is wanting to bare her testimony this Sunday-This is a picture Mikelle drew of him during our last General conference in October
