Dear Friends!

Our great friends the Nash's are on their way to be missionaries and we are so happy for them! They have been dear friends for a long time and we love them to death! We had a fun dinner with Nik and Cindy and got to have Jod and Steve as an added bonus!

Silly Kels!

Steve had surgery and took his brace off for a while so Carter gave it a try while sitting on Nik's lap!

Every time we get together the kids love to have Nik give them Rocket rides!

The girls helped me make dinner for them --
Nik's favorite -- My Mom's meatloaf dinner! Extremely unhealthy but sooo good!

You cook the meatloaf, potatoes, and green beans all in an electric frying pan -- All the juices run together and make it so yummy!

Our Karate kid

Carter has LOVED taking Karate (twaekondo) and we have loved all the benefits it has brought too! Master Oliver is VERY into teaching the boys respect and honoring their parents. And when it is ok and not ok to be physical!

New years!

For New Years we thought it would be fun to go warm up in St. George at the Patterson St. George abode -- Well, this is what we woke up to!

SNOW! It was so so cold! But so so beautiful!

This is right near their place and I think it is one of the greatest places ever-- But what do ya do in St. George when it's so cold?!

Toilet paper is always fun! Dad and Carter make mummies!

almost there!

Gracie was not too sure where that Carter went and who this mummy was!

after the mummy was done, he ripped it all off and stuffed himself-- complete with a little tail!

Just Dance II is a BLAST! (Video post coming soon!)

And there's nothing like puzzles! 1000 piece ones!

It took three days but it was complete before we had to pack up!

Cute Aubrey made a cute sign for New Years eve! We were all so tired and were still getting over being sick (Ry ended up having to go into InstaCare down there) that we had a little party then went to bed after watching the ball drop at 10 back East! But.... cute Grandpa stayed up and he and Mikelle went downtown and midnight and watched the fireworks and rang in the New Year together! We had a great time together and are surely looking forward to a New Year, feeling better, and making some good goals!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve morning came and Aubrey woke up SOOOOO sick! We had ALL been sick since Thanksgiving -- taking turns on antibiotics, and trying to keep up with the holidays! I was down and out for quite a while myself and had to get on some really strong antibiotics -- No fun! So when Aubs woke up with the very same thing -- We decided to take her in-- She couldn't even walk -- we had to carry her into the Dr.! She started that morning on the antibiotics and literally slept ALL day! She woke up and had Christmas Eve dinner with us -- only "smashed potatoes" though and we had fun with Ry's parents-- They brought a few gifts for the kids to open early and they loved it! And they got to open new PJs to sleep in!
Aubs and her doll got matching ones! So good to see her feeling a little better!

G and G gave Gracie some pink boots! She would not take them off! She loves them and we almost had to let her sleep in 'em!

Christmas Eve Eve

Christmas is about traditions and that is one of the many things I love about it! We had Christmas Eve on the 23rd with my fam-- One of the things we do every year is the grand kids put together humanitarian kits -- They have gotten quite good at it and look forward to it so much!

Another tradition is pretzel salad! It's on that my Mom made every year and now I do! We love it!

Swiss Cheese fondue is what we eat every year on Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember! My Mom lived in Germany while my Dad was on his mission and she picked it up there as a tradidtion and we've continued ever since!

Family FHE

For FHE we were able to go the Care Center where my Dad serves in the presidency and do a FHE with cousins -- the kids shared piano, singing and stories and we all loved spending time with the cute people there!
