BEAR LAKE

Last weekend we took our annual trip to Bear Lake with our friends the Petersons! We have been going with them to their family cabin since our oldest kids were tots! We always have a great time and have had so many fun times, traditions, and memories! Ry and Andy went down in the morning to scope out a good spot on the beach! The tent was a little tricky but they did it!

We did some fun shots in the sand. So funny to see how similar our little families are!
Even down to the letters-- only a few difffernces
They have 3 boys and a girl-- We have 3 girls and a boy! And all similar ages!

The cute Peterson family!

Gracie's getting some relaxation!

When we first got to the beach it was freezing but we stuck it out and told stories and then had some fun looking for sea shells!

The kids found the landmine of shells Ry turned them on to and it lasted for a good couple of hours!
First dips in the lake

Dips with Dad!

One tradition we love -- Kids to bed and games for us!

The last night we do Dutch oven! Our fav!

and the last night there we enjoyed Raspberry shakes and an amazing Sunset! Thanks again Petersons! We love you!

British Soccer camp

We have a tradition in Flagstaff of doing British soccer camp every Summer! It was something we were going to really miss-- Until I got an email saying they are ALL over the Nation! I looked up the nearest location and it was right here in Farmington! We signed Carter up and he loved the whole week! There were only 5 on his team but he enjoyed it and loved his Coach -- Coach Ash!

Our garden!

One of my favorite parts of a long Summer trip is coming home and seeing how our gardens have grown! We had quite a few zuccinis and the flowers were in full bloom!

Back home!

We got in from our trip late Friday night! It was so good to be home but we were tired and ready to hunker down. We had a fun night Sat. night -- Made homemade pizzas and watched the fireworks from our truck bed in our driveway -- Farmington had a festival days celebration and it was so fun to see the fireworks from the comfort of our own home! We enjoyed eating dip n' dots and hanging out together!

Goodbyes

Kel's best friend Emma came to hang out for an hour or so while we were ready to pull through -- G&G brought the girls up to Flag so we could caravan back home. It was bitter sweet --- they loved being together but so hard to say goodbye again! So grateful for such good friends -- And cute Carter had a hard time saying good bye to his good bud Jesse the dog! It was so fun to stay with Misti and Shane and we loved every minute!

Flagstaff baby girls!

We of course had to get a few of our babies together! To try something different, we plopped them down in from of Misti's great Grandfather's piano! Aren't they cute?!!!!

Flagstaff part 1

So since we were so close, I couldn't resist a chance to go up to Flag to see some old friends and do some photo shoots. I took Grace and Carter with me and the girls stayed with G&G down in PHX. We stayed with my friend Misti --2 doors down from our old house. We walked in her house and Carter said, "Mom, I wanna see Flagstaff!" I said, "We're in Flagstaff." He pointed down the street and said, "No, Flagstaff!" We walked down to the old house and he said, "There, That's Flagstaff!" It was so cute and a little sad too! That's the only home he ever really knew. But he was great after that and even was fine when we told him new people live there and we can't go in.
We took the kids all over and of course took a million pics! Misti set a bunch of shoots up for me and we did some of her kids too. We went to a fun wall in Flag and took some cute pics of the kids. Then the first night there we went to get a pedicure and then off to ice cream. The next day we went to a bird show downtown, then to Prospector Sq. with all our old neighborhood friends and the kids had so much fun being together again. That night I went to visit our old ward friends and went out with our cute "Kafaleen!"

Gracie is 9 months!

Gracie turned 9 months while we were in AZ but I had to get her pic done right when we got home! She is cruising everywhere! Smiling and laughing and mimicing everything her sisters and brother do! She is a blast and so busy! Time is going way too fast!
