First real snow!

Sat night we got our first real snow of the season -- We wok up Sunday morning and the flakes were huge as we looked at our window-- Gracie sat on our bed pointing outside and saying "ooohhh and wooowww!" She loved the snow! Then after church we came home and the kids had a great time with daddy building snow men and drinking hot cocoa!

All on their own!

Mikelle and her friends love late nights and at school last week thought up a little idea to enjoy their Halloween candy, dress up again, and have a late night all in one! When they presented me with the idea and new Carter would be at a little B-Day party the same night, I couldn't say no-- They decided to each dress up as their favorite candy bar and bring their candy to trade and eat. They had pizza and watched Willy Wonka! It was so cute to see them do it all on their own --

SIDEWALK

Can I just say how much I love this BOY!!! He has been going through a "MY CLOTHES ARE BUGGIN' ME" stage -- poor thing -- Well, a few days ago I found this little pair of sweats for him and wondered if he would enjoy them --He put them on without a problem at all and as I waited to see his reaction, he got a huge grin on his face and said, "Hey! I look like the sidewalk!" Then proceeded to go outside and show us how he looked on the sidewalk! He literally does something or says something daily that melts me or makes me laugh -- (and also can push a few buttons in between, but man I love him!

HALLOWEEN

Halloween was quite the busy time and also quite fun! I learned some good lessons though due to a MAJOR melt down from our cute little Frankenstein! He has been going through some things as of late (mostly normal 5 yr. old boy meltdowns due to clothes buggin him, sisters buggin him, and mommy not letting him do ALL the many things he would like!) But it was a DOOZY of a day Halloween day -- and I'm afraid it was partly my fault -- Here yet again I have to learn that just because they are all "good things" there can indeed be TOO MANY of those good things and we can get ourselves too over scheduled. Bless his heart, he blew his top Sat. afternoon and we almost didn't make it out for the evening! It affected the whole fam-- but we are happy to report that we DID pull it out and had a very nice night -- and only snapped a few pics of pumpkins and our candy -- I decided to be WITH my kiddos and was so grateful for G&G who came so RY and I could both be out with them for a while. THEY are who matter, not the activities and several things we do-- (although they are nice and create "hopefully" good memories, it is the quality of them, not the quantity that counts) OKAY, I am RAMBLING! But just had to share and hopefully it can help someone else out there in cyber world too!

Cute little Halloween faces!

And of course -- the endless candy that I personally have had WAY too much of -- But man it is GOOD! Love the Reeces Cups -- My fav! Notice, there are none in the pic- wonder why?!

SHOTS OF TOTS 2010

SHOTS OF TOTS 2010 went really well this year! I really missed doing it last year and had so much fun!!! We had a great turn out and we even were able to do it outdoors since the weather was so beautiful! The kids helped a ton and we are on our way this week to the food back with LOTS of canned goods! Thanks again everyone for coming!
