HAPPY 24th!

Well, it's the 24th of July (A UTAH Pioneer holiday) and my friend Nikki and I were a bit homesick after talking to family back in Btfl. about parades, fireworks, etc. So, today the kids and I decided to make out flag shirts. They each designed their own and put their stars on and then Mom helped a bit with the tape and spray paint! And then we had a little parade around the yard wearing the shirts! Whatever works right! They make pretty cute little patriotic buddies :)

Choo choo!

This is the kid's favorite thing to do! They all trade places at different times and go up and down the block riding like this! This little tractor is really quite fun! Kels even got me in the wagon part and pulled me clear down the road! (Sorry, no pics of that one! :)

Screen Saver

Thought it would be fun to show you what RY did with our pics from Lego Land USA. He made them into screen savers! This is the one we are currently using and it's my favorite!

SUmmer movies on the Square!

Movies on the Square

Celtic concert

Oooops -- wrong setting on the camera!

Heritage Square at dusk

We have wanted to do this ever since we moved to Flagstaff! Every Friday night they hold concerts and movies on Heritage Square downtown. Just bring your chairs, sit back, and enjoy! We had such a fun night and the kids loved every minute-- We watched a Celtic concert and then they showed the Any Bully. (Cute movie) and we actually made it till the end!

A little corny!

This was a fun dessert I tried tonight for FHE. I got the idea from the Famiyl Fun magazine! It's a favorite- Our lesson was on the word of wisdom, eating healthy, and the Food Guide Pyramid. Then we surprised the kids with corn on the "cob"cakes for dessert -- (Totally dashes all the eating healthy stuff) but hey -- it was fun!

Puggle trubble

Well, it happened! We all fell in love! It ends up that we are making a new addition to our family! A little puggle! I took pics of them a few weeks ago and we have all been dying ever since -- I don't think we know what we're in for but oh well! We just went to my friend Tanya's Friday night to visit our little girl puggle -- She's the one that Ry and I are both holding. She gets to come home in a few more weeks --after we get back from Utah! We are so excited and now it just is down to agreeing on a good name. So far we have Princess, Dolly, Tink, Beauty, and Belle. Who knows, but hopefully we'll figure it out before she comes home-

CALIFORNIA!!!

We took a trip right after girl's camp with the Smith family. We spent a week in Oceanside in a beach house and had so much fun! We went to Legoland, Sea world, the San Diego Zoo and had a blast playing on the beach! I only took 1300 pics so we'll try to widdle it down somehow so we can share a few. Here are a few to start though -- One of the highlights of the trip for me was to see my dear friend Kelly Furgeson. We met them 8 years ago in grad school at UofM. She is a true sister/friend and also a fellow photographer! She and her family just moved near Oceanside so she came to do our BIG fmaily pics and also Ry and I and our little fam. It was so much fun to spend time together and have someone else do the shooting! She is my "photography idol" and has been a huge part of helping me start my business! It was a blast to be together again!

GIRL'S CAMP

I was at YW camp from 25th - 28th of June. It was Stake Camp and we had
a Pirate theme. It was S.A.I.L. Sisters anchored in the Lord. We camped at Camp
Silver Creek near Snowflake and it was so beautiful. We were able to do so many
fun things with our girls : archery, repelling, canoeing, and mostly just loved being
together and having a blast! Girls camp is definately the highlight of Yw for me and
I love being with the YW so much! They make me feel young again!
